This dataset contains crystal size distribution (CSD) data of ilmenite and plagioclase for a suite of 12 Apollo 11 high-Ti basalts from four groups. The purpose of the dataset is to investigate how cooling rate, bulk composition, and nucleation density can influence textures of different Apollo 11 basalts. This dataset can help uncover the crystallization environment and effusion rates of loose basalt samples which are not from actual outcrops.
