Eight libraries of RNA-seq data from wild strawberry receptacle fruit (F. vesca) at green stage (15 days post anthesis) and white (turning) stage (22 days post anthesis). The fruits at the green or white stages were respectively harvested. The achenes were removed from the receptacle, and the resulting receptacles were used for RNA extraction. PolyA selection was applied during library construction, and the RNA_seq data were generated on Illumina Hiseq4000 with single end 51bp.Two different accessions of the wild strawberry were used, Yellow Wonder 5AF7 and Ruegen (F7-4). Both accessions are 7th generation inbred lines. Yellow Wonder 5AF7 makes yellow fruit, while Ruegen (F7-4) makes red fruit.
