IAI-FinalReport_ISP3_132: Comparative Assessments of Agriculture Uses of ENSO-Based Climate Forecasts in Argentina, Mexico, and Costa Rica

This dataset refers to Final Report of the ISP round 3 project number 132,
which has the name "Comparative Assessments of Agriculture Uses of ENSO-Based
Climate Forecasts in Argentina, Mexico, and Costa Rica". The demonstrated
influence of ENSO on agricultural production and the merging capacity to
forecast climate at seasonal lead times suggest an unprecedented opportunity to
tailor agricultural decisions to anticipated weather conditions, either to
mitigate the impacts of adverse conditions or to take advantage of favorable
conditions. In this project, investigators in Argentina evaluated the
acceptance and value of ENSO-based climate forecast by cooperating decision
