Record of Bacteria associated to Totumo Volcano in Santa Catalina (Bolívar) - Colombia

The data presented in this dataset is generated within the framework of the development of the course of Environmental Microbiology belonging to the professional training cycle of the Microbiology undergraduate program of the Universidad Libre Seccional Barranquilla. The practice aims to train students in the design and execution of procedures that allow the isolation, selection and culture of microorganisms. The above is raised within a case study in the ecosystem Totumo Volcano located in limits of the departments of Bolívar and Atlántico in the Caribbean region of Colombia.
