Agrimonia

The Agrimonia Dataset was developed by the Department of Economics, University of Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy, with the core objective of investigating the impacts of agricultural and livestock farming on air quality. This dataset contains daily air quality, weather, emission, livestock farming, land and soil use data spanning from 2016 to 2021, covering 141 monitoring stations. The data is sourced from multiple authoritative institutions, such as the European Environment Agency and the Lombardy Regional Environmental Protection Agency. During its development, researchers conducted spatio-temporal harmonization on cross-source data to ensure data consistency and usability. The Agrimonia Dataset has broad application scenarios, including but not limited to urban-rural air quality comparison, research on livestock management technologies, and assessment of the impacts of agricultural emissions on public health, among others. Its ultimate goal is to support the formulation of environmental protection and sustainable development policies using scientific data.
