Global Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI, MOD13Q1, 250 m, Bimonthly 2020) – Continental Subsets

This dataset provides bimonthly Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI) composites for the year 2020 at 250 m spatial resolution, derived from the MOD13Q1 v6 product and distributed by OpenLandMap. The global rasters were subsetted into continental tiles using fixed geographic extents. Each continental archive contains six bimonthly EVI rasters covering the following periods: January–February 2020, March–April 2020, May–June 2020, July–August 2020, September–October 2020, and November–December 2020. Raster values represent the median EVI per period (unitless, scaled ×10 000).Spatial reference system: EPSG 4326 (WGS 84).Spatial resolution: approximately 250 m (0.00225 degrees).File format: GeoTIFF (LZW-compressed, tiled, BigTIFF enabled).Each ZIP archive contains the six EVI rasters for one continent. GeoTIFFs were written with LZW compression and tiled layout for efficient storage. Files smaller than 1 MB were removed to exclude incomplete or empty tiles. Each continent’s rasters were zipped into a single archive for distribution.
