Mitochondrial Genome Sequencing and RNAseq & Small RNAseq Gene Expression Profiling of Oxycarenus laetus from two different locations

Dusky cotton bug oxycarenus laetus is polyphagous species and a minor cotton pest which is slowly gaining the attention from scientist as it is becoming a serious menace across diverse plants. There is variation in its resistance activity and population being reported from south and north India. Here we have performed a gene expression study to understand the variations at the expression levels and have also tried to understand the changes if any, in the mitochondrial genome with respect to different geographical locations.
