Rulesets for HAZUS-HM Asset Representation: Wind Vulnerability in Bay County, FL

This project contains ruleset documentation and supporting Python scripts that enabled the first replication of the SimCenter’s hurricane (wind) regional loss assessment workflows for Florida's Bay County. The rulesets and supporting scripts were developed for common building occupancies in the Bay County and can be incorporated into the SimCenter's Regional Resilience Determination tool to conduct HAZUS-compatible loss assessments, given the requisite asset inventory information. The rulesets can be further extended to enable assessments for all of HAZUS' building classes throughout the State of Florida.
