Gene expression of Cholangiocarcinoma patients derived organoids and matching biopsy

Gene expression was compared between PDO and matching FFPE tissue Patients Derived Organoids (PDO) were established from a biopsy core of a patient with intrahepatic chemotherapy refractory cholangiocarcinoma, while a matching core was processed through formalin fixation and paraffin embedding. PDOs were cultured and expanded; RNA was extracted from PDOs and matching FFPE tissue and subjected to nanostring analysis for gene expression.
