The data contains information about the methane decomposition products in a constant volume batch reactor as a function of time at high pressure. Methane pyrolysis was performed at 892 K, 1093 K and 1292 K and 399 kPa for a residence time ranging from 15-300 s. The high pressure data presented will be helpful in obtaining improved reaction kinetic models and develop optimized methane pyrolysis reactors.
