In a 2020 survey, 54 percent of respondents in the U.S. stated that they would much less likely use ride-hailing service like Uber, Lyft or taxi, if coronavirus were to spread in their community. In that same survey, 57 percent of people surveyed in the U.S. revealed that they would much less likely use public transport if their community will be infected by COVID-19.
