Pseudomonas strains isolated from soybean root nodules. Pseudomonas moraviensis strain:MAMW5

Pseudomonas form a diverse but complex genus of bacteria. Some of species/strains are serious human and plant pathogens while others exhibit plant-growth-promoting potential and disease suppression. In this project, several strains of Pseudomonas are being isolated from a diverse consortium of field-grown soybean plants. They belong to different phylogroups of Pseudomonas. These different strains have shown some growth promoting potential in the field and in controlled green-house settings. Hereby, the genome sequencing and assembly is being presented. Assemblies will be improved with long-read sequencing technologies.
