Jealousy Metaphors in Latin_ Dataset

This dataset was developed within a doctoral research project examining the conceptual metaphor for jealousy in Latin literature. It is based on a corpus-driven and lexeme-oriented analysis of metaphorical expressions associated with a set of Latin lexemes semantically related to jealousy, including invidia, livor, aemulatio, obtrectatio, and malevolentia. The dataset was compiled during a research period in collaboration with the Lexicon of Embodied Experience in Latin (LexeLat) project at the University of Genoa, which investigates the conceptual metaphors for emotions in Latin using lexeme and corpus-based approaches.
