The study shows the dysregulation of BCL3 in asthma and lung cancer cell lines can induce apoptosis and proliferation, the hall marks of cancer. Overall design: Epithelial cells from normal bronchium and asthmatic lung were studied for overexpression of BCL3 gene. In addition, silencing BCL3 in lung adenocarcionam cell lines was conducted using siRNA specific for BCL3. RNA from all these cells before the trabsfection and after the ransfection was isolated. RNA from the cell lines thus obtained was subjected for whole transcriptomic analysis uisng Ampliseq transcriptome panel on Ion S5 XL sequencer.
