415 annotated images of insects on an artificial platform, outdoors. Images are an unmodified raw (3840x2160 pixels) subset from "Image dataset for training of an insect detection model for the Insect Detect DIY camera trap" (10.5281/zenodo.7725940). Shadows of insects were considered as "background". Each insect is annotated as a polygon.Annotations are contained in JSON file: `instances_default.json` in the COCO format.Images were annotated by hand or semi-automatically (e.g., using Segment Anything).
