An independent, openly-licensed record of what UK sofas actually cost: the advertised price, the crossed-out "was" (reference) price, and the sale event under which each was observed. Collected weekly from major UK retailers' public product pages by ProperSofa, using a fixed basket of named sofas so week-to-week comparisons stay honest. 313 sofas across 47 UK brands, 624 price observations over two weekly snapshots (6 and 11 July 2026), 347 carrying a crossed-out reference price — and growing every week.
