Combining both intrinsic and extrinsic approaches in evaluating quality of Volunteered Geographic Information (VGI) data, our work explores whether intrinsic methods can be relied upon to evaluate VGI data quality and, if so, which criteria are most effective. In our study, we analyze three criteria: contribution volume, number of contributors, and population density, to assess their impact on the positional accuracy of OpenStreetMap (OSM) features, serving as an indicator of Volunteered Geographic Information (VGI) data quality.
