资源简介:
B. thuringiensis SS2 is a Gram positive, aerobic, rod-shaped and mesophilic bacterium that was isolated from dioxin contaminated soil in Lagos, Nigeria. The draft genome of strain SS2 consists of a total of 426 contigs assembled at the scaffold level totaling 5,030,459 bp and encoding for 4116 functional proteins, 1170 of which are annotated as hypothetical proteins. The bacterial chromosome has a GC content of 35.67% and contains 4 rRNA and 66 tRNA loci. Whole-genome sequencing identified the genes linked to dioxin degradation and other genes associated with catabolic pathways for xenobiotic compounds were present.
