The F-Box-Protein NIPA might define a novel regulator of aging and critical stress response in hematopoietic stem cells To investigate the underlying mechanisms and activated pathways of NIPA-mediated HSC function in steady state and under stress conditions, we performed Affimetrix-based global gene expression analysis on untreated and irradiated, aged Nipa WT and Nipa KO LSK (Lineage-, SCA1+, cKIT+) cells and identified different expression profiles depending on NIPA LSKs out of 3 aged Nipa WT or Nipa KO mice were merged to one sample, cultured in BM media, either not treated or 4 Gray irradiated and harvested 3 hours later for RNA extraction and Affimetrix-based global gene expression analysis.
