This repository contains the MATLAB script and Simulink simulation model used in the study titled "Energy-Based Reliability and Multi-Level Fragility Assessment of 3D Base-Isolated Buildings under Parametric and Seismic Uncertainty." The files provided here allow reproduction of the numerical simulations presented in the study. The simulation can be executed by running the MATLAB script (ReliabilityAnalysis.m), which calls the Simulink model (RELIABILITYSEISMICISO.slx) representing the dynamic model of the 3D base-isolated building. A bi-directional earthquake ground motion record from the Erzincan earthquake is included as the input excitation file (erzincanbi.txt). To perform analyses with another earthquake record, the new ground motion file with the same format can be used by modifying the following: - In the MATLAB script (ReliabilityAnalysis.m), replace the command "load erzincanbi.txt" at line 221 with the name of the new earthquake file. - In the Simulink model (RELIABILITYSEISMICISO.slx), update the earthquake input in the block named "earthquake acc" with the corresponding earthquake record.
