Heterogeneous temporal sampling of letters in visual word recognition [2025]

The dataset from Experiment 2 of the study “Spatiotemporal letter processing in visual word recognition uncovered by perceptual oscillations” (Arguin & Fortier-St-Pierre), currently under review for the Journal of Vision. It includes raw trial-level data from all participants, covering signal-to-noise ratios for the five target word letters across 24 image frames (200 ms at 120 Hz), response accuracy, and the list of 600 five-letter words used. Files are provided in .mat (Matlab) and .txt (tab-delimited text) formats.
