Water depth and acoustic backscatter data collected from NOAA Ship Nancy Foster in Caribbean Sea, offshore of Cabo San Juan from 2012-04-03 to 2012-04-20 (NCEI Accession 0131856)

The Center for Coastal Monitoring and Assessment (CCMA) conducted the ninth year of an ongoing scientific research mission on board NOAA Ship Nancy Foster from April 3 to April 20, 2012. The objective of this project was to collect a multibeam bathymetric dataset with 100 percent seafloor ensonification, along with multibeam backscatter suitable for seafloor characterization in a high-priority conservation area. This report applies to surveys W00221 and W00222 that took place northwest of the Isla De Culebra.
