This dataset presents high-resolution measurements collected over a year from a rooftop solar monitoring system in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Two 20W monocrystalline photovoltaic (PV) panels were used in the study—one was regularly cleaned, while the other was left unmaintained. Sensors were installed on both panels to monitor their performance and environmental conditions. Data were logged at 30-second intervals each day, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, between November 2019 and October 2020. This dataset includes parameters such as panel surface temperature, short-circuit current, wind speed, humidity, and air pressure. Additionally, derived metrics such as open-circuit voltage, solar irradiance, electrical power, and cumulative energy output are calculated using established equations and included in the dataset. Each day is represented by a dedicated CSV file with approximately 1400 entries containing time-stamped entries for raw and computed values. This dataset is ideal for researchers and developers interested in solar energy performance, climate impact analysis, the effects of dust accumulation, and data-driven modelling. It serves as a valuable resource for validating simulation tools, training machine learning models, and supporting clean energy research in subtropical urban environments. All data is provided in CSV format and requires no preprocessing for reuse.
