Surface Velocity Dataset Estimated from CCTV Imagery Using LSPIV in the Cimanis Estuary, Indonesia: A Tropical Microtidal Estuary

This dataset contains synchronized optical imagery and in-situ hydrodynamic measurements collected at the Cimanis Estuary, Cirebon Regency, West Java, Indonesia (6°44′52″ S, 108°39′10″ E). The dataset was acquired during a seven-day field campaign to support the development and validation of image-based surface flow velocity estimation methods. The dataset includes hourly 1-minute videos recorded between 09:00 and 18:00 WIB using a fixed BARDI Smart Outdoor IP Camera (1920 × 1080 pixels, 15 fps) mounted at a 15° inclination angle overlooking the estuary. Four ground control points (GCPs) surveyed with a Real-Time Kinematic Global Navigation Satellite System (RTK-GNSS) are provided for image georeferencing and orthorectification. Concurrent in-situ hydrodynamic measurements include two-dimensional flow velocity components (u, v) obtained from an Acoustic Doppler Velocimeter (ADV) positioned within the camera field of view, together with cross-sectional velocity measurements collected at five monitoring stations using a Valeport current meter.
