This dataset contains ultrasound images used for segmenting anatomical structures of the preterm infant brain, specifically the ventricles and septum pellucidum, to aid in the diagnosis of intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH). All images have been resized to 128×128 pixels for model input. The dataset includes a total of 1,629 images, among which 1,300 are allocated for training and 329 for testing. Metrics for evaluating segmentation performance include the Dice coefficient and Intersection over Union (IoU). The task of this dataset is to segment the ventricles and septum pellucidum in ultrasound images.
