资源简介:
This study examines the factors influencing the viability of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Lending platforms in Asia, including the extent of information asymmetry and the effectiveness of interest rate limits in mitigating adverse selection and moral hazard issues. The research focuses on the relationship between asymmetric information and default in the P2P lending market, particularly in unsecured loans in credit markets. The study finds that P2P lending platforms in Asia have reduced information asymmetry compared to traditional banks by using alternative data and advanced data analysis methods.
