mRNA sequencing of Ca61R Xanthomonas euvesicatoria resistant pepper line carrying bs6 recessive resistance. Transcriptome study of resistant pepper line to determine the molecular basis of resistance or susceptibility to bacterial spot infection. This research will be critical in determining the mode of resistance to Xanthomonas euvesicatoria infection and putative disease resistance genes that could be used to breed sweet pepper.
