资源简介:
To investigate the influence of texture features, root-mean-square (RMS) height, skewness, and kurtosis of non-Gaussian rough surfaces on the elliptical contact spin elastohydrodynamic lubrication, this paper proposes a novel analytical model for elliptical contact spin elastohydrodynamic lubrication considering the influence of non-Gaussian rough surface features, and provides a complete solution to the elliptical contact spin elastohydrodynamic lubrication problem. This model can quickly calculate oil film thickness, fluid pressure, and micro-protrusion contact pressure, and can analyze the influence of non-Gaussian rough surface parameters such as RMS roughness, surface texture parameters, skewness, and kurtosis on the elliptical contact spin elastohydrodynamic lubrication performance. The numerical examples show that the elliptical spin angular velocity and lubricating oil viscosity significantly affect lubrication performance, while a reasonable surface texture layer can effectively improve interfacial lubrication performance. With the increase of RMS roughness of the contact surface, the micro-protrusion contact pressure increases, leading to a deterioration in interfacial lubrication performance. Conversely, reducing the contact surface skewness and kurtosis values can significantly improve the lubrication performance of elliptical contact spin.
