Data repository for: Energy barrier for crack nucleation via the phase field approach to fracture and the nudged elastic band

This dataset corresponds to the research article “Energy barrier for crack nucleation via the phase field approach to fracture and the nudged elastic band” by Yihao Chen and Yongxing Shen*. The GIF files correspond to the intermediate configurations for Sections 3.2 through 3.5 and can be opened directly for viewing. The remaining data and code require MATLAB to run. Regarding the code, we have made publicly available the parts related to the NEB method.
