Raw data of Octopus maya embryos along the development: wet weight, oxygen consumption, antioxidant defence mechanisms and oxidative damage.

The raw data showed in this file are data that were part of the paper "How hard is Octopus maya embryo’s life?" 

Those data study shows for the first time the relationship between the gene expression of genes of antioxidant defense mechanisms during embryo development of an octopus species. At the same time, we measured the activity of some enzymes of those defense mechanisms, making a bridge between gene expression and functionality. 

When the females were included in the analysis, we found that embryos received some quantity of radical oxygen species (ROS) that embryos neutralized during their development.  In this sense, the dynamic of inherited ROS and the octopus embryos' physiology were first described in this paper. Now, raw data of those results are chowed.
