The primary objective of this study was to perform comprehensive genome sequencing of Vigna radiata, utilizing advanced sequencing technologies such as PacBio HiFi reads and Hi-C chromatin capture. The incorporation of PacBio HiFi reads and Hi-C chromatin capture ensures high accuracy, facilitating the most resolved, high-quality, and contiguous genome for Vigna radiata. The resulting genome assembly is anticipated to significantly enhance the accuracy and completeness of the Vigna radiata reference genome. This study holds relevance for advancing our understanding of Vigna radiata genetics and genomic features, with potential implications for crop improvement and sustainable agriculture practices.
