Objective and Subjective Hearing Difficulties Are Associated With Lower Inhibitory Control

This dataverse contains the stimuli and experimental Inquisit files for an online study examining the relationship between visual and auditory cognitive interference and speech perception in noise and self-reported hearing measures. The files include a demographic questionnaire and online versions of the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS), the Geriatric Anxiety Inventory (GAI), and the Speech, Spatial and Qualities of Hearing Scale (SSQ). The files also include a visual and auditory Stroop task and the stimuli used. The Stroop tasks were implemented by Millisecond Software (2020) and then modified by our team.
