Helicoverpa armigera head transcriptome

Neuropeptides are by far the largest and most diverse group of signaling molecules in the brain. Due to their small size and low transcription levels with a lack of genetic and genomic information, it is difficult to discover all neuropeptides precursor genes. In addition, these limitations hinder functional studies of these neuropeptide systems in insects. So, we do the de novo sequencing of the Helicoverpa armigera head transcriptome.
