This dataset contains basic design parameters for a prototype cable-stayed bridge, including span length, tower height, load values, cable strength and other relevant parameters. These data are used to validate the applicability of the approximate method proposed in this paper. The results of the approximate calculation are highly consistent with those from numerical analysis, which confirms the effectiveness of the proposed method.
