Panel dataset of cereal yields, land share, precipitation and intervention indicators for 18 Sub-Saharan African countries (1996–2019)

This dataset contains a balanced country-year panel (1996–2019) for 18 Sub-Saharan African nations. Variables include national cereal yields, arable-land share, annual precipitation, and binary indicators for coordinated agricultural interventions (Ethiopia ATA, Malawi FISP, Rwanda CIP). The raw yield and land-use data were sourced from FAOSTAT (2020) and the climate variables from the World Bank Climate Change Knowledge Portal.
