The abundance of wild P. notoginseng is becoming depleted. Commercial P. notoginseng is categorised into field P. notoginseng or forest P. notoginseng based on the cultivation methods used. Variations in the soil microbial exert an influence on the growth of P. notoginseng. P. notoginseng grown in Illicium verum forests have thrived for numerous years without disease occurrence. Based on PacBio Seque sequencer, 16 S rRNA in rhizosphere soil of P. notoginseng grown in Illicium verum forests. In this study, 16 S rRNA sequence was used to elucidate the diversity and composition of bacterial community in rhizosphere soil of P. notoginseng under Illicium verum forest.
