RNA-Sequencing was performed on rRNA-depleted RNA samples that were isolated from formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue sections of human normal thymus and human thymic tumors of patients with multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN1) syndrome. Overall design: RNA-Seq of 11 thymic carcinoids and 2 thymoma from MEN1 patients was compared to the RNA-Seq of 6 normal thymus.
