Actinorhizal plant root and nodule transcriptome

The direct aim of this data is to compare the gene expression patterns between the roots and the root nodules in two non-legume actinorhizal plant species, Ceanothus thyrsiflorus and Datisca glomerata. The difference between roots and root nodules is well studied in some model legumes but much less so in the non-legumes even though they are closely related evolutionarily. The indirect aim of this is data is to make comparisons of the differences between the root and the root nodules across different lineages.
