In Ilia Prefecture Western Greece, Alfeios River has been overflowed, starting from Saturday 12-01-2019 and large rural areas have been covered by water, near the villages of Sekoulas, Dafnoula, Makrisia, Kalivakia, Frixa and Aspra Spitia. According to the local civil protection authorities and the Greek Agricultural Insurance Organization large rural areas are still flooded and flow in Alfeios River is still high and according to the weather forecast more rain is expected in the area<br>
