资源简介:
- The two sites that lose all their patients based on the original cohort criteria retain some patients in the alternate cohort criteria - Seattle has some significant drops, but this can be explained by their very small cohort size being more sensitive to changes in patient makeup. - Nationwide has significant drops in patients with MCV labs, ANC labs, and hydroxyurea drug exposures. They also have a relatively small cohort size, but given that these are important variables for the study, this will require further investigation. - Generally, with the exception of Seattle, median facts per patient year only exhibits minor changes between the two cohort definitions. The alternate definition may be a viable alternative that can be used without disrupting the fact density of the cohort.
