Database for the classification of medium and small cities

This database compiles information on socio-economic and demographic variables of medium-sized and small cities in Spain. It includes indicators related to population, employment, motorization rate, accidents, meteorology, and pollution, among others.

The database has been used in a study to classify Spanish cities based on their socio-economic and demographic characteristics, with the aim of assessing their suitability for the implementation of Low Emission Zones (LEZ).
