Polygenic discrimination of leaf morphotypes in alpine Heldreichia bupleurifolia across its natural range

The goal is to investigate the genetic basis of leaf morphology in Heldreichia bupleurifolia, an alpine plant species exhibiting three distinct leaf morphotypes (entire, mixed, and lobed/dissected) across a geographic gradient in Turkey. Genome-wide data will be used to identify loci associated with morphotype differentiation and assess the role of environmental factors in shaping adaptive traits.
