This dataset consists of event data collected from a breeding colony of chinstrap penguins in Antarctica, with dedicated annotations for a behavior referred to as "ecstatic display". It enables researchers to quantify penguin behaviors, and demonstrates the distinct advantages of event cameras in low-light and energy-constrained environments. Comprising data from 16 nests, this dataset is designed for temporal behavior detection tasks.
