Human activities and sea-level change in Pearl River Estuary

This a data about sea-level change and human activities data in Pearl River Estuary. The sea-level change data sourced from the Annual China Sea Level Bulletin issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources of China represents the coastal relative sea-level change. This data is spatially averaged along the Chinese coastline. The human activities within the estuary (Table S1) are obtained through a synthesis of the data published in previous studies. The magnitude of human activities such as land reclamation, channel dredging, and sand mining were obtained from published literature and estimated based on bathymetric maps .
