This theoretical approach presents a predictive and optimization model for tank allocation and transfers in aquaculture production involving grading procedures. The model is not species-specific but can be adapted to various species by adjusting initial parameters within the defined hypotheses. It is based on the Thermal Growth Coefficient (TGC), estimated from the initial and final dates of the harvesting period and the forecasted daily temperature throughout the rearing process.
