资源简介:
This dataset is derived from a behavioral experimental study conducted in a laboratory environment, aimed at exploring the impact of fear of falling (FOF) on gait control performance at different ages. The study adopted a mixed experimental design of 2 (age: young/old) × 2 (fall fear: high/low) × 3 (task type: Go/Logo/Stop). Participants completed foot movement tasks based on visual stimuli, with Go task reflecting automated execution, Nogo task reflecting active inhibition, and Stop task reflecting reactive inhibition. The experimental program is based on E-Prime 3.0, and the kinematic data is collected through the Optotrak 3040 3D motion capture system with a sampling frequency of 200 Hz. The data collection time is from March 2025 to April 2025, and the experiment is completed in a controlled indoor environment. This dataset consists of 40 records, with one participant per behavior. The main variables in the data table include: subject number, age, age group, fall fear score, fall fear grouping, gender, exercise duration, peak speed, and accuracy under different task conditions. It also includes scores from TUG, BBS, SCL-90 anxiety scale, and GDS-15 scale. The trial level data is preprocessed and summarized into the current dataset. The preprocessing steps include removing extreme outliers and processing kinematic data using MATLAB code. The measurement error mainly comes from the accuracy of motion capture devices and individual motion differences, and this error remains consistent across different experimental conditions. This dataset contains a master data file (. csv) and variable encoding instructions (. txt), which can be analyzed using commonly used statistical software such as SPSS, R, or Python. All data has been anonymized and does not contain any personally identifiable information.
