This dataset consists of a convection-permitting climate simulation with the regional numerical climate model COSMO v6, coupled with a hail growth model (CAM-HAILCAST) and the lightning potential index (LPI) diagnostics. The simulation has a spatial resolution of 0.02° (approximately 2.2 km) and covers western to central Europe. A Pseudo-Global Warming approach is applied to study a 3°C global warming level over Europe, corresponding to the years 2085-2095 in this simulation. 5-min output fields of maximum hail diameter and 1-hourly outputs of maximum hail diameter, precipitation, lightning potential index, column maximum vertical updraft, 2m temperature, convective available potential energy, convective inhibition, 2m specific humidity, 850hPa relative humidity, melting level height, 700-500hPa lapse rate and 0-6km wind shear are here provided.
