Genomic Characterization of metallo-beta-lactamase-producing Escherichia coli isolated from a tertiary hospital in Alexandria, Egypt

Study of the phenotypic characterization of the resistance and virulence profiles of carbapenem-resistant E. coli strains isolated from various specimens collected from Alexandria Main University Hospital (AMUH), Egypt. The study investigates the whole genome sequence and the molecular mechanisms underlying the carbapenem resistance of some selected resistant and virulent isolates.
