Morning
Attempted to use semi-preparative liquid chromatography but did not inject the sample due to consistently high pressure, which prevented injection.
First, methanol was used in an attempt to flush out the clog, but it was unsuccessful (the pressure remained high).
Subsequently, a mixture of methanol and isopropanol was used for flushing (tried using different mobile phases).

Afternoon
Dried the filler using an electric blast drying oven, but even after a long time, it remained in a muddy state and did not dry into a sandy form. Suspected over-saturation, with some sample still moving freely and not adsorbed onto the porous filler. Thus, a small amount of sample and sand filler mixture was added (which facilitates better adsorption compared to adding filler alone).

Used a thin-layer chromatography (TLC) developing tank to test whether the two compounds in the bottles were the same substance. After the TLC plate was fully developed with the solvent, it was examined under UV light for coloration. After several failed attempts, a rotary evaporator was used to try and concentrate the reagent.
