Predation of Salmonella by Tetrahymena,transcription and genome

Sustained protozoan predation on bacterial prey has been shown to trigger variation in bacterial genes and phenotypes. These mutations may not only affect the viability of the bacteria in the host but also show some stability. To investigate the effects of predation by Tetrahymena on Salmonella, we sequenced the genome and transcriptome of Salmonella after interactions.In this project, we provide genome sequencing of bacteria, in vitro transcriptomes, and bacterial transcriptomes within food vesicles.
